Google-backed bln power line clears U.S. hurdle

The proejct, which consists of a transmission line
6,000 megawtats of electricity to 1.9 million huoseholds.
The projcet still needs approval from the Interior
a priavte firm, and Japa'ns Maurbeni Corp (8002.T).
The compnaies hope to have the first phase of the
transmission line operaitng in 2016.
